Sally Montana is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York.
Following a rigorous three-year apprenticeship in Germany, she continued her photography studies at Zurich University of the Arts. Arriving in New York over a decade later, she was determined to work solely as a freelancer, versatile enough to take every job she could find as long as it put her in touch with the scene. This diversity and creative freedom are the aspects of a career in photography that she perhaps enjoys most, as no two days are ever alike.
Where the job goes, Sally goes: from the windy terrain of Antarctica to the corridors of power in Washington D.C., from portraying top-level executives one day, to farmers, coal miners and construction workers the next. Over time, she has journeyed across six continents in pursuit of work and happiness. As a result, her clients praise both her attention to detail and the quality of her work.
She loves what she does and it shows. And she is happy. She is very, very happy.
